A Day of Photography in association with Kata

We are hosting our first exclusive readers’ day for 200 lucky Professional Photographer readers in Bristol on Saturday 10 July. It will feature indepth discussions with some of the UK’s best professional photographers, a presentation of some of the most creative movie making with DSLRs in the world and portfolio reviews with industry experts and fellow photographers. This is a unique networking event which is not to be missed.

With a full programme of events and the chance to have your work reviewed by an industry expert we’re expecting tickets to go quickly so don’t hang around – book today. Tickets cost £49.95 for the whole day and an extra £25 for a one-to-one portfolio review with the expert of your choice (while places are available). The event will be held at the Watershed Cinema in the centre of Bristol, right by the water, with ample parking.

It promises to be a fun day full of debate and inspiration and the PP team will be on hand to answer any of your questions about the magazine.

10.30am-11.30am Interview Q&A: Professional Photographer magazine Editor Grant Scott interviews legendary reportage photographer John Bulmer

11.30am-12pm Break.

12pm-1.30pm Movies shot on DSLRs – Presentation and Q&A: The event features photographers/filmmakers Clive Booth and Richard Jobson and is hosted by Professional Photographer Editor Grant Scott.

1.30-2.30pm Break.

2.30pm-3.30pm Interview Q&A: Professional Photographer Editor Grant Scott chairs a debate on ‘What Makes a Successful Portrait?’ with professional portrait photographers: David O’Driscoll Tim MacPherson Jason Ingram.

3.30pm-4pm Break.

4pm-5pm Presentation of movies shot on DSLRs. Closure and thanks.

*Portfolio reviews will take place at the same time as other events and last approximately 20 minutes. Please book your review time with this in mind.
